Haiku Friday – Goooood Friday

 

Sunday is Easter

Only TWO MORE days left of

refraining from wine

 

Yep.  I gave up wine for Lent this year.  (How original, I know.)

It’s been hard.

I really didn’t think I was that much of a lush, but seriously? 

Why is it that you crave most the things you can’t have? 

It seems like these past 40 days have been some of the most wine-craving days of my life. 

With the hubs being gone.

With wishy washy people making lame offers on our house.

With spring taking her sweet time in her arrival.

Oh, and did I mention the bickering?

I’m so over it.

Today is Good Friday, but Easter Sunday will be even better.
