Noelle’s Meditations

When deciding on a picture to attach to a thank you note we were composing on the computer to her coaches… “Mommy, don’t pick that one.  The girls on my team are being too loud in that one.”  Uh hem.  Yes, because you can actually HEAR them through the picture.  Her memory is so vivid that even the mere thought of the girls screaming “NUMBER ONE!” makes her visibly shudder.  SO, we pick another picture.  And another.  AND, we end up choosing that one in the end anyways.  Only then, I didn’t put it in the right place.  “No, the Pink Panther should be LOOKING at us.  No, put it up THERE. No THERE!”  She’s very particular about how she wants things to happen in life.  Sort of like her mommy, I guess.

So, I have been searching and looking and begging for teaching jobs.  Here, there, everywhere, and have had no luck.  To say that it’s frustrating is a huge understatement.  It’s migrane producing.  It’s heartbreaking.  I just want a job, people.  Is that too much to ask?
